Anna Ferrari is a professional clarinetist and educator dedicated to performing traditional and innovative repertoire in wind band, orchestral, and chamber settings, as well as helping young students grow as both musicians and individuals.
During her time in Indiana, where she received a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Anna performed with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and Columbus Symphony Orchestra. She also participated in numerous opera, ballet, orchestral, and wind band productions at the Jacobs School of Music, as well as educational outreach programs that brought classical music to young audiences.
At the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance, Anna performed with the UNT Wind Symphony and contributed to numerous recording projects, including GIA Publications’ Teaching Music Through Performance series and a documentary highlighting the ensemble’s collaboration with the Barcelona Clarinet Players. She also performed with the UNT Symphony orchestra, Concert orchestra, and various chamber ensembles, most notably her woodwind quintet, which was featured in the UNT Chamber Music Gala in 2022. Additionally, Anna managed her private studio and participated in UNT’s virtual private lesson program, which provided students in Dallas with access to private instruction.
Anna is currently based in the DMV area, where she continues to perform and teach privately. Outside of music, she enjoys hiking, baking, and crafting, including painting and cross-stitching.
