Every year, students from Latin America are selected to be a part of Sound Impact’s Cultural Exchange Program, giving them access and opportunity to attend a music festival on full scholarship in the United States and year-round mentorship from Sound Impact musicians. Chosen through a rigorous audition process, these students are selected not only because of their musical talent but also their desire to impact their home communities through music.

About the Program:

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be 16–25 years old.
Applicants may not participate in CEP more than two times.
Instruments to be considered: violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, bassoon, oboe, french horn, trombone, trumpet, tuba

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

• Live auditions in Panama City (finalists only)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Solo
• Exposition of a major concerto (max 3 minutes)
• With or without piano accompaniment

VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• You may record solo and excerpts as separate videos
• Upload all videos to YouTube (public or unlisted)
• Camera angle must clearly show:
– Your full instrument
– Both hands
• Ensure your video is not mirrored or reversed
