Carissa Ledesma is a Dallas-based educator and percussionist. She recently graduated with her Master's in Percussion Performance from Southern Methodist University and received her Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Houston.

As an educator, Carissa has been teaching privately in the Houston and DFW areas for 5 years, and she highly values the power of music education. She has had the opportunity to perform at the Eastern Music Festival, the Ted Atkatz Percussion Seminar, and the PRISMA Festival. Carissa was also the Community Engagement Fellow at the National Repertory Orchestra in the summer of 2025.
