Jessica Sammis enjoys a varied career as a cellist, ukulele player, and teacher to students of all ages. She has performed in the National Symphony Orchestra, the Eclipse Chamber Orchestra, the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and served as a member of the U.S. Army Strings and assistant principal cellist in the Maryland Symphony Orchestra. She currently teaches a thriving studio of cello and ukulele students in Northern Virginia. Jessica is also the creator of the “Peace on Four Strings” podcast, which features peaceful music for cello and ukulele.

Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in cello performance from Northwestern University, and a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music.
